We finally made it happen: "Olal Kanoraku" (Diola, 'We are together') is hung at Centre Touristique et Culturel in Diakène Ouoloff, Casamance. Three and a half years ago, just before the pandemic, these photos were taken in the little village in the South of Senegal. From the beginning, I promised the villagers and myself that their photos would come back to the village before anything else happened with them. I continue to be humbled by the villagers, especially the Thiaw family, the Cultural Center and its team, Mariana, Diop, Amadou, Baye, Boy and all the other people that have shown me nothing but trust and good will. From the bottom of my heart: Thank you. - A selection of he photos are now on my website and will be gradually posted to Instagram. The project is available for publication.
